Set a track as Now Playing and VinylDesk lists the tracks in your crate that fit: the key on the Camelot wheel, the tempo, and how far you have to move the pitch to get there.
- BPM and key without typing. Looked up automatically when you are online. Not found? Let the phone listen for about 20 seconds and measure them; you can always correct the result.
- Your tolerance, your rules. Set how far apart tempos may be, with or without key lock.
- Live BPM and key. Leave the phone next to the mixer. It shows the tempo and key of what is playing, and which tracks in your crate fit.
- Played or not. Mark a track as played and keep track of a night.
Sales
From the crate on the table to money in the till.
Price a record once. After that, selling it is a scan and a tap.
- Card payments on your own SumUp reader. The cart total goes to the reader; the sale is recorded when SumUp confirms it. The money goes straight to your SumUp account.
- A cart that works without a signal. Scan labels, give a discount per record or on the whole cart, and complete a cash sale. It syncs when you are back online.
- A condition suggestion from photos. Photograph the record and the sleeve and get a suggested grade to confirm.
- One stock, kept right. A sold record is removed from your collection and from Discogs, unless you say otherwise.
Printed labels
A label for every sleeve, printed from your phone.
Print on ordinary label sheets. Measure a test sheet once and VinylDesk lines every label up with your printer. Each label carries a QR code, so the phone knows the record again when you scan it.

Connect your Discogs account and VinylDesk brings in your collection and your wantlist, at any size. From then on it works both ways: what you add, move, grade or remove in VinylDesk is changed on Discogs too.

Good to know
Which phones does VinylDesk run on?
Android phones and tablets with Android 8.0 or newer. An iPhone version is planned; there is no date for it yet.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Every new account starts with 7 days of everything: Collector, DJ and Sales, with 30 AI Credits to try label scanning and condition suggestions. No payment card is asked for.
What happens when the trial ends?
Without a plan your account becomes read-only. Everything you made stays and you can still look at it, and in DJ the crate, Now Playing, the mixing suggestions and the live BPM and key tool keep working. Adding, editing, scanning, printing labels and selling wait until you choose a plan. Nothing is deleted.
Where do I choose a plan or change my payment details?
On this website, under My plan. You sign in with the same email address and password as in the app. Plans are not sold inside the app.
Do I need a Discogs account?
For Collector, yes: it works with the collection in your own Discogs account. DJ and Sales also work without one, by adding tracks and items yourself.
How do card payments work?
With your own SumUp account and a SumUp card reader (Solo, Solo Lite or Air). You sign in to SumUp in the app's settings. VinylDesk sends the amount to the reader and records the sale when SumUp confirms the payment. SumUp pays you directly and charges its own fees; VinylDesk takes nothing from a sale.
Which label sheets can I print on?
Standard A4 label sheets: Avery J8159 or L7159 (24 labels a sheet), or sheets of 21 labels of 70 × 42 mm or 60 × 38 mm, on a printer your phone can print to. You correct for your printer once, by measuring a test print.
What are AI Credits?
The one currency for the two things that use AI: reading a record label from a photo and suggesting a condition. Everything else in the app, including BPM and key and syncing with Discogs, never costs credits.
Do bought AI Credits expire?
No. Credits from a pack stay until you use them. The credits included with a plan are set again each month; VinylDesk uses those first.
Which plan do I need?
Collector if you only keep a collection. DJ or Sales if you also play or sell; each of them includes Collector. If you want both DJ and Sales, Complete covers all three for less than those two together.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, under My plan. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for and are not charged again.
Is there a version for the computer?
No. VinylDesk is an app for Android. This website is where you choose and manage your plan.
