Connect your Discogs account and VinylDesk syncs your existing collection so you can browse, search and work with it right away — no re-entering hundreds or thousands of records by hand.
On the Free plan, syncing your existing Discogs collection never counts against your 20 lifetime new-record allowance. Someone with 3,000 records already on Discogs can sync and browse all of them for free — that counter only tracks records you add to VinylDesk that weren't already on Discogs.

Can I use VinylDesk for free?
Yes. Every workspace has a genuinely usable free tier — Collector and Sales include a lifetime allowance of new records/listings plus one-time starter AI Credits, and DJ includes a monthly AI Credit allowance that resets automatically.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Signing up is free and doesn't ask for payment details — you only add a payment method if and when you choose to subscribe.
Can I use my existing Discogs collection?
Yes. Connect your Discogs account from Collector's settings and VinylDesk syncs your existing collection so you can browse and search it right away.
Does syncing my Discogs collection count toward my 20 free Collector additions?
No. The 20-record free allowance only counts records you add to VinylDesk that weren't already synced from Discogs. Syncing an existing collection of any size is always free.
What are AI Credits?
AI Credits are VinylDesk's one shared currency for AI-assisted actions — identifying a record and grading its condition — used the same way across Collector, DJ and Sales. Everyday actions like browsing, BPM/key detection, harmonic matching and Discogs sync never cost AI Credits.
Do purchased AI Credits expire?
No. AI Credits you buy in a pack never expire. A subscription's included monthly AI Credits reset each billing cycle; VinylDesk always spends your included credits first, then any purchased pack credits.
Which VinylDesk plan do I need?
If you only use one workspace, subscribe to that one — Collector, DJ or Sales. If you regularly use two or more, VinylDesk Complete covers all three for less than buying them separately.
What is VinylDesk Complete?
Complete is one subscription that includes the paid functionality of Collector, DJ and Sales together, with a single, larger shared pool of monthly AI Credits.
Can I change plans?
Yes, from your account settings in whichever app you're subscribed through.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, any time. You keep access until the end of your current billing period, and you're never charged again after that.
Does VinylDesk work on mobile?
Yes. Collector, DJ and Sales are all responsive web apps you can install to your phone's home screen (a PWA) and use like an app, on iOS and Android, right from your mobile browser today.
Is there an Android app?
Not yet — a native VinylDesk Android app covering Collector, DJ and Sales is planned. Today, VinylDesk works fully in your mobile browser, including installing it to your home screen.
